Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for medical orthopedic patients using the nursing process, evidence-based practice, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Direct the care team via delegation, coordinate patient care delivery, and manage time, supplies, and resources to meet individualized care plans. Evaluate patient responses to interventions, revise care plans as needed, and provide accurate, timely documentation while adhering to legal and ethical standards. Promote the nursing profession and integrate regulatory compliance into daily practice. Requires current RN licensure, BLS certification, and BSN degree; includes 36 weekly hours with an hourly range of $38.37 to $57.29 at Intermountain Health St Vincent Regional Hospital in Billings, Montana.
Required Qualifications
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice
- Valid compact licenses must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of the start of employment
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN). Education must be obtained from an accredited institution
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is required as of the job description's last update on 4/27/2025
- RNs with less than 12 months of experience must obtain their Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) within four (4) years of their hire date
