Job Summary
RN in Maternity Services assesses, plans, implements, evaluates and supervises patient care on a nursing unit per unit policies; supports strategic values through excellent patient care; performs discharge planning, care coordination, and patient/family teaching; participates in hourly rounding and bedside shift report; handles instrument handling and disinfection duties per IFU; requires Ohio RN licensure, high school diploma, and nursing program graduation with BLS and NRP within 90 days of hire; shift is Full Time Night (36 hrs/wk); location Portsmouth, OH; organization is Southern Ohio Medical Center.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or successful completion of an equivalent High School Exam
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Licensed to practice as an RN in Ohio
- BLS within 90 days of hire
- NRP within 90 days of hire
