Registered Nurse - Maternity - Regular Time(0.75FTE) - Nights w/Call - Utica NY

Conduct comprehensive patient care in the maternity unit by completing the nursing process, collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary teams, and establishing personal rapport with patients and families. Provide teaching on disease processes, medications, and self-care skills while documenting care accurately in medical records. Ensure equipment operation through preventive maintenance and troubleshooting, and maintain inventory of nursing supplies. Adhere to infection control policies, medication regulations, and universal precautions to protect patients and employees. Communicate the plan of care continuously with the nursing team and participate in quality improvement initiatives and educational workshops. Maintain confidentiality and provide culturally sensitive, compassionate care using AIDET methods. Work nights with call in the Maternity Services department at Mohawk Valley Health System.
