Job Summary
Provide care addressing specific needs for infants to the elderly, including those with impairments, language barriers, or abuse risks. Incorporate knowledge of patient rights, mission, vision, and values into nursing practice while assuming full responsibility for care quality. Perform health maintenance, teaching, counseling, and collaborative planning. Manage labor and delivery procedures, sterile fields, and surgical assistance for obstetric patients. Delegate nursing activities to other personnel while bearing ultimate responsibility for outcomes. Maintain competency in labor and delivery or scrubbing procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Nursing Diploma, ASN or BSN
- Ability to obtain BSN within 4 years
- Previous RN experience
- Labor & delivery experience
- Current RN MA license
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- NRP certification
- Must be able to lift, transfer and move patients
- Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing in the English language
- Must be able to complete mathematical computations required to perform treatment protocols
- Must complete a background check
- Must be vaccinated against COVID-19
- Must receive a booster dose of the COVID-19 vaccine
