Job Summary
Oversee health services for the Behavioral Health Services Division while managing a team of LPNs and nursing staff through clinical and administrative supervision. Take the lead on medical and nursing issues, including taking vital signs, filling physician orders, and overseeing the medication administration system. Coordinate medical care and contribute to comprehensive assessments, specifically utilizing tools like the COWS, CIWA, and CIWA B for substance withdrawal. Split time between managerial oversight and direct patient care. Requires BSN, RN licensure, and three years of nursing experience including behavioral health and addiction treatment. Schedule includes 40 hours Monday through Friday with flexibility for evenings and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Licensure as a Registered Nurse
- Good standing with the Board of Registration of Nursing
- Minimum of 3 years' nursing experience
- Minimum of 1 year working in a behavioral health setting
- Experience with addictions and Medication Assisted Treatment
