Job Summary
Ensure absolute compliance with all healthcare accreditation, regulatory, and safety requirements across the unit. Lead recruitment, training, professional development, and performance evaluation of departmental staff while proactively identifying systemic barriers to optimize patient care delivery. Design and implement clinical policies and procedures that maximize efficiency and oversee unit budgets to drive fiscal responsibility. Requires Texas Board of Nursing licensure, three years of clinical experience, and one year of cumulative leadership experience. Full-time day shift position within Ascension Providence's Ortho Neuro department.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted BLS certification
- Licensed Clinical Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing
- 3 years of experience
- 1 year of cumulative leadership experience
