Job Summary
RN Manager for the Medical Surgical unit: leads nursing care during designated shift, collaborates with management to direct and evaluate care, oversees admissions/discharges for efficient throughput, participates in quality assessment, supports staff development and training, assists with staff scheduling and labor management, inventory/supply control, and enforces policies to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care and operational performance.
Required Qualifications
- RN (Registered Nurse)
- Associate Degree or Bachelors Degree must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
