Job Summary
Provide nursing care to students as authorized by medical providers and within scope of practice for the state-specific nurse practice act. Supervise staff LPNs to assure compliance with all state regulations and oversee the wellness clinic in the absence of the health and wellness director. Monitor students with illness, conduct student health record audits, and participate in continuous quality improvement programs to ensure delivery of quality services. Prepare and submit required reports, assist in managing record keeping for student injuries, and provide direction to LPNs in health-related programs. Participate in an on-call rotation to offer consultation for urgent situations outside regularly scheduled hours.
Required Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted registered nurse license in the state of employment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Computer proficiency
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record

- Experience working with youth in a paid or unpaid capacity
