Registered Nurse - Main Renal - Full Time - Nights

Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate holistic patient care for renal units, including physical, psychosocial, and spiritual needs. Perform and delegate nursing actions based on physician orders, manage emergency situations with precision, and provide ongoing patient and family education. Document all care interventions and patient responses accurately in the electronic medical record. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams using SBAR handoff processes to communicate pertinent data and establish discharge plans. Maintain competency through participation in staff meetings, performance improvement projects, and peer review activities. Adhere to Ohio Nurse Practice Act standards and complete required BLS and ACLS certifications.
Required Qualifications
- BSN within 5 years of the date of hire
- Current licensure to practice nursing in Ohio
- BLS certification prior to patient contact
- ACLS certification within 6 months of hire in step-down and ICU areas
- Certification in area of clinical specialty within five years of eligibility
- Ability to accept and implement change
- Ability to work in a culturally diverse setting
