Registered Nurse - Main Emergency Department - Full Time - Nights

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in the Main Emergency Department using a holistic approach that addresses physical, psychosocial, spiritual, and educational needs. Perform and delegate nursing actions based on physician orders, respond to emergency situations with immediate precision, and provide ongoing individualized education to patients and families. Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to communicate pertinent data via SBAR and handoff processes, establish priorities during shift reports, and initiate discharge planning upon admission. Document the nursing process accurately in the electronic medical record and maintain competency through required BLS certification and annual education. Participate in staff meetings, unit-based performance improvement initiatives, and council activities to support professional growth and patient safety standards.
