Job Summary
Supervise and manage personnel on your unit, ensuring direct care for all residents aligns with facility standards and physician prescriptions. Review daily nursing staff assignments to verify duties match ability and training, while initiating and updating nursing care plans as needed. Provide resident assessment and assist in developing individualized plans of care in accordance with Federal and State regulations. This role requires a current Indiana nursing license, one year of Long Term Care experience, and the physical ability to stand and lift heavy objects.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Hold a current license by the State of Indiana in good standing
- Must display good emotional health
- Be capable of extended periods of standing
- Be capable of bending
- Be capable of heavy lifting
Desired Qualifications
- At least one year's experience in Long Term Care or related field
