Job Summary
Registered Nurse role at Lifeblood Mackay Donor Centre (Fixed Term Part-Time, 60 hours per fortnight). Greet and interview potential donors to assess eligibility, provide clinical oversight of the blood collection process, perform routine tests (blood pressure, haemoglobin), set up equipment, insert/remove needles for whole blood, plasma, and platelets, manage adverse donor reactions, and assist donors with post-donation scheduling. Requires a Bachelor of Nursing (or equivalent) and current AHPRA registration; occasionally lift 9-22.7 kg; ability to stand, walk, and bend during shift; own vehicle and driver's licence. Rotating roster Monday to Sunday, including weekends and afternoon shifts; Mackay Donor Centre, Queensland. Salary negotiable in line with experience plus salary packaging options; training program provided.
Required Qualifications
