Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) provides direct patient care in a correctional setting, including assessments, medication administration, treatments, and emergency response. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM. Responsibilities include conducting initial screenings, comprehensive physical assessments, documentation in EMR, patient education, coordinating with interdisciplinary teams, leading in the absence of management, supervising LPNs and nursing assistants, ensuring infection control and regulatory compliance, and participating in quality improvement. Requires active RN licensure and 1–3 years of healthcare experience; Associate’s or Bachelor's degree preferred. CPR/BLS certification is required. Required Qualifications
- Current, valid state RN licensure
- Associate’s or Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Nursing, or related field preferred but not required
- 1-3 years experience in healthcare setting (correctional healthcare or similar preferred)
- CPR/BLS certification (AHA/ARC guidelines)
