Registered Nurse

Provides professional nursing care through skillful assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation in accordance with facility policies. Directs and manages the care of designated patients, utilizes effective communication, and maintains safety and clinical/professional competency. Responsibilities include collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary team members, synthesizing data to optimize patient outcomes, participating in quality and safety initiatives, supervising and mentoring new colleagues and interns, delegating based on team members’ skills, and contributing to performance improvement and patient education throughout treatment. Requires graduation from an accredited nursing program and current PA RN license; BLS/CPR training per American Heart Association standards.
