Job Summary
Provide safe, age-appropriate nursing care in a long-term care and memory care setting, conducting comprehensive patient assessments and developing individualized care plans. Administer medications and treatments while monitoring resident conditions, and provide education and emotional support to residents and families. Collaborate with physicians, nursing assistants, and interdisciplinary teams to address chronic conditions, dementia-related behaviors, and varying levels of care needs. Accurately document patient care and outcomes within the electronic medical record. Serve as a clinical resource and advocate for residents and families.
Required Qualifications
- Active Maryland Registered Nurse (RN) License
- American Heart Association CPR Certification
- Associate degree in Nursing
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and patient-centered care skills
- Basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Office and electronic medical records
