Registered Nurse - Long Term Care

Job Summary
Provide skilled nursing care to long-term residents per established care plans; administer medications and treatments following standards of care; supervise CNAs and coordinate unit workflow; utilize the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, evaluation); monitor for medication side effects and ensure the 5 rights of med administration; communicate with residents, families and guardians about health status; ensure hygiene, comfort, safety, and spiritual needs; participate in care meetings and deliver end-of-life care in a compassionate, faith-based senior community; adhere to regulatory requirements and participate in ongoing training (BLS HCP/AHA).
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited school of nursing or education equivalency for licensing
- Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association
- Registered Nurse (RN) - Illinois/Missouri/Oklahoma/Wisconsin licensing or compact state licensing

- Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association (AHA)
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensed in Illinois, Missouri, Oklahoma, or Wisconsin (IDFPR, OB/NB or equivalent) or compact state license
- Ability to provide skilled nursing care per established care plan
- Experience in medication administration, monitoring for side effects, and adherence to the 5 rights
- Ability to supervise CNAs and coordinate unit workflow
- Knowledge of nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, evaluation)
- Strong communication with residents, families, and guardians
- Commitment to regulatory compliance and quality end-of-life care
