Registered Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse

Assess and evaluate patient status, write and initiate plans of care, and regularly re-evaluate patient and family needs. Develop care plans establishing goals based on nursing diagnoses, administer medications and treatments as prescribed, and complete accurate clinical notes regarding patient condition and care given. Communicate with physicians regarding patient needs, report changes in condition, and obtain required orders. Provide a safe environment for patients, participate in interdisciplinary group meetings, and attend on-call duties. Ensure arrangements for equipment and services are available, supervise ancillary personnel when required, and actively participate in quality assessment performance improvement teams. Maintain professional knowledge through continuing education and fulfill case assignments.
