Job Summary
Provide professional nursing care for assigned patients utilizing the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation. Adhere to professional standards, state regulations, and the health center mission within the clinic setting. Maintain a current Kansas registered nurse or practical nurse license and complete Basic Life Support certification from either the American Red Cross or American Heart Association within the first 90 days of employment. This role supports the health center's mission by delivering direct patient care in a clinic environment.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's or Diploma Degree in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing
- Practical school of nursing
- Medical Assistant school
- Current Kansas registered nurse license
- Current Kansas practical nurse license
- Basic Life Support certification from either American Red Cross CPR/AED for the Health Care Provider or Basic Life Support (American Heart Association-Health Care Provider)
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor in Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Hospital or clinic experience within the past 5 years
