Job Summary
REGISTERED NURSE (RN) responsible for administering medications (oral, SQ, IM, IV), supervising nursing assistants, assisting physicians with rounds, and providing care across the patient care continuum in a geriatric setting. Ensures infection control, adheres to regulations and facility policies, documents appropriately, assists with scheduling annual physicals and admissions, supports quality of nursing care, and participates in staff training. Includes a $10,000 sign-on bonus and requires NC RN licensure, CPR annually, and ongoing professional collaboration with physicians, nursing staff, and other departments.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN)
- Accredited nursing program graduate
- Current, valid NC Board of Nursing license
- CPR certified yearly
- Ability to supervise nursing assistants
- Ability to follow physician orders and policies
- Experience with infection control and universal precautions
- Ability to coordinate admissions and physicals
- Background checks/drug-free workplace
