Registered Nurse/LHSH PACU PRN

Job Summary
Provide nursing care in the PACU for adolescent, adult, and geriatric acute care patients, including data gathering, establishing and implementing a nursing plan of care, discharge planning, medication administration, and patient/family education. Collaborate with supervisors and health-care teams to ensure safe, evidence-based care; participate in department/hospital committees, QA/PI activities, and in-service training; maintain accurate medical records and adhere to safety standards. Role requires TX nursing licensure with BCLS and ACLS, and typically 2-5 years in a cardiac care setting with at least 1 year in PACU. PRN shift with flexible scheduling and career ladder opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved school of nursing
- Currently licensed in the state of Texas
- BSN preferred
- BCLS and ACLS required
- 2-5 years’ experience in cardiac care setting
- Minimum of 1 year experience in PACU
