Job Summary
Oversee daily patient flow, triage requests, and coordinate care for antepartum, laboring, and postpartum patients within a 7-bed Level II Nursery. Provide family-centered care, deliver education, administer medications, and delegate tasks in compliance with Colorado statutes. Work independently with minimal supervision, managing high telephone volumes and prioritizing critical assessments for mothers and newborns. Maintain NRP, ACLS, and BLS certifications while supporting 24/7 OB and neonatal provider coverage. This night shift role (7 pm to 7 am) offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus and includes ski pass reimbursement, wellness benefits, and access to the Night Shifter app.
Required Qualifications
- One-year clinical experience
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Colorado or from a valid compact state
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Minimum of Associate Nursing Degree
- Must possess, or be able to obtain within 90 days, the computers skills necessary to complete online learning requirements for job-specific competencies, access online forms and policies, complete online benefits enrollment, etc.
- Must have working knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing, and speaking English
- Must be HIPAA compliant
- Must be available for night shift (7 pm to 7 am)
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
