Job Summary
Night-shift Registered Nurse in the Family Birth Center Level II Nursery responsible for antepartum, labor and delivery, recovery, and postpartum care, lactation education and assistance, and family-centered care including well newborn and Level 2 Nursery. Provides expert, compassionate, individualized nursing care, triage and education, coordinates with providers and teams, supervises patient flow, delegates appropriately, administers medications and treatments per safety guidelines, and supports independent practice with 24/7 on-call support. Emphasizes Relationship-Based Care, HIPAA compliance, and collaborates to achieve optimal patient outcomes. Requires Colorado RN license, BLS, NRP, ACLS, and an associate degree (post-2018 hires). Sign-on bonus and relocation assistance available; night shift with differential.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Colorado or from a valid compact state required
- One-year clinical experience required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required
- Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP) required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required
- Minimum of Associate Nursing Degree for positions hired after 07/01/2018
