Registered Nurse Level 7 Part Time

The professional registered nurse has the authority, responsibility, and shift accountability for the delivery of nursing care through the nursing process in an inpatient hospital setting. The RN applies competent clinical knowledge, independent nursing judgment, and evidence-based practice to care for patients, assesses data to identify age-specific needs, and collaborates with interprofessional colleagues and families. Duties include modifying plans of care based on data, providing patient education, and participating in initiatives to improve quality and safety. Required to hold a current RN license and obtain Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire; a minimum of one year of nursing experience is expected. The role is scheduled for part-time shifts and is located at Weirton Medical Center in Weirton, West Virginia.
