Job Summary
As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will oversee the health and well-being of residents, implement care plans, and provide expert nursing care in a collaborative environment. Responsibilities include conducting thorough health assessments, developing individualized care plans, monitoring residents, administering medications and advanced treatments, supervising nursing staff, and maintaining accurate medical records. This role requires effective communication with residents, families, and the healthcare team, adherence to regulatory standards, and participation in emergency response efforts.
Required Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Iowa
- CPR and First Aid certification (or must be obtained upon hire)
- Previous experience in a nursing role, preferably in long-term care, skilled nursing, or geriatric care settings
- Experience in supervisory roles and leadership is a plus
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Additional certifications (e.g., wound care, IV therapy) may be required or preferred depending on specific duties
