Job Summary
Monitor department reports to manage daily work flow, identify opportunities, and track interventional results. Collaborate with the department leader on oversight of day-to-day operations, including mentoring, orientation, training, and problem-solving. Identify performance and quality concerns, address them appropriately, and participate in performance reviews by soliciting peer feedback. Assist with staff planning, attendance management, and on-the-job training for new hires to ensure policy compliance. Lead or participate in regular staff and department meetings, and contribute to the development of training and procedure manuals. Demonstrate professional nursing standards and the ANA Code of Ethics while maintaining constant alertness and safety.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited school of nursing or education equivalency for licensing
- Two years' registered nurse experience
- Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association (AHA)
- Registered Professional Nurse (RN) - Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
- Registered Nurse (RN) - Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) Issued by Compact State
- Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association (AHA)
- Registered Nurse (RN) - Missouri Division of Professional Registration
- Registered Nurse (RN) - Missouri Division of Professional Registration Issued by Compact State
