Job Summary
Monitor department work flow and volumes, post metrics, and address performance or quality concerns. Collaborate with the department leader on daily operations, including mentoring, orientation, training, and problem-solving. Assist with staff planning, attendance management, and on-the-job training for new hires while ensuring policy compliance. Solicit peer feedback and provide input during the performance review process. Participate in the development of training and procedure manuals and lead or attend regular staff and department meetings. Demonstrate professional nursing standards and adhere to the ANA Code of Ethics in a state of constant alertness. Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited school of nursing or education equivalency for licensing
- Two years' registered nurse experience
