Job Summary
Accurately perform patient assessments, identify needs, and initiate appropriate nursing interventions for labor and delivery patients. Provide care tailored to patient condition and age, complete timely documentation, and revise the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient. Maintain a 3-12 hour night shift schedule (7p-7a) with rotating weekends. Requires current NC RN license, BLS within 30 days, ACLS and NRP within 90 days, and AWHONN Fetal Monitoring certification within 90 days. Associate's degree in nursing required; Bachelor's preferred. One year of RN experience in OB/L&D is preferred. Required Qualifications
- current North Carolina state or compact state RN license
- Basic Life Support certification
- ACLS certification
- NRP Advanced certification
- AWHONN Fetal Monitoring certification
- Associate's degree in nursing
