Job Summary
Plan the workday and manage staffing requirements to meet patient scheduling and workflow needs. Oversee and assist Medical Assistants in performing duties, acting as a resource for questions regarding patient care and LBCC policies. Ensure all appropriate patient information is entered into the medical record while managing third-party and grant documentation requirements for patient programs. Maintain knowledge of care and documentation standards for all programs the clinic participates in.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to organize work environment and supervise the work of Medical Assistants and Volunteers to successfully carry out the responsibilities of this role
- Ability to recognize the significance of diversity in cultural values and health beliefs
- Ability to consistently work with other members of the care team in providing patient care and treatment
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- Two years' experience in a primary care clinic or other healthcare setting performing related job duties
- Active and current California Registered Nurse licensure
