Job Summary
Promote breastfeeding and develop standards of care for assisting mothers across OB, Childbirth Education, and Breastfeeding programs. Organize information and prepare marketing materials to support patient care education, collaborating with Department Heads from Pediatrics, Family Practice, and OB/GYN. Maintain Board Certification as a lactation consultant and hold current RN licensure with BLS and NRP certifications. Earn $49-$54/hr plus $5.09/hr H&W, including a $10K sign-on bonus, with fulltime status and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse
- Associates Degree of Nursing
- minimum of 1 year experience as an RN within the last two years
- Board Certification
- certification as a lactation consultant as determined by the International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners (IBLCE)
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
- Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse
- Must be able to provide services approximately one (1) weekend per month on a rotational basis
