Provide evidence-based breastfeeding education, support, and counseling to pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding families through direct patient care, staff education, and policy development. Assess breastfeeding needs, develop individualized feeding plans, and assist mothers with techniques, positioning, latch assessment, and pumping strategies. Maintain accurate health care records, report symptoms or changes in patient conditions, and collaborate with physicians, nurses, doulas, and interdisciplinary teams to support feeding goals. Perform duties in both inpatient and outpatient settings while ensuring optimal maternal and infant outcomes.
