Job Summary
Provide quality obstetric, neonatal, and gynecologic nursing care in a perinatal unit, incorporating emotional support and patient education to support patient well-being. Deliver comprehensive care across obstetric, neonatal, and gynecologic services within Williamson Health’s perinatal/OB-GYN unit, utilizing equipment such as fetal monitors, NICU resources, and related clinical procedures. Maintain clinical standards, documentation, and ongoing professional development, including readiness for on-call responsibilities and adherence to departmental policies.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed by the State of Tennessee.
- Earned a nursing diploma or degree from a college or university.
- BLS within 90 days of hire.
- At least one year perinatal experience preferred.
- Certified Lactation Consultant, preferred.
- NRP within six months of hire.
- ACLS certification or agree to obtain within six months of hire.
- Level I, Level II and fetal monitoring within 1 year of hire.
