Job Summary
Assess psychosocial, spiritual, and diversity needs of labor and delivery patients. Construct and implement plans of care for intrapartum conditions, emergencies, and obstetric complications. Coordinate interdisciplinary care goals, treatment plans, and discharge strategies. Collaborate with designated care partners to address physical, psychological, and spiritual requirements. Provide constant monitoring, medical support, and comprehensive education for pregnant patients and their families throughout labor and birth.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program
- Current Nevada nursing license
- Current BLS certificate
- NRP, STABLE within 6 mo. of hire
- ACLS (or obtained within six months of employment)
- Must successfully pass any pre-employment assessment(s) required by the facility
- Fetal Monitoring within 6 months of hire
Desired Qualifications
- one year full time or three years part time experience in acute care setting
