Job Summary
Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse providing care to expectant mothers before, during, and after childbirth; monitor maternal and fetal well-being; assist with labor and delivery procedures including cesarean sections; provide emotional support to laboring mothers and families; educate new parents on newborn care; floating and cross-training for the postpartum unit during orientation to support unit versatility.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
- Licensed as Registered Nurse in the state of KY.
- Certification in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) within the first year of employment.
- Completion of Fetal Monitoring Course within the first year of employment.
