Job Summary
Provide direct nursing care in Labor and Delivery across Ascension acute care hospitals on a travel basis. Implement, monitor, and document patient care plans and conditions, coordinate multidisciplinary care, and carry out physician and nursing orders. Assess and manage discharge planning with the healthcare team. Requires active RN licensure (compact or state's RN license) and current BLS; NRP credential within 6 months of hire; 1 year of RN experience in acute care; Diploma from an accredited nursing program. Multiple shifts and a travel schedule available; gross rate up to $3,023 per week.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) with compact license or state RN license for travel location
- Diploma from an accredited nursing program
- BLS Provider certification
- Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP) credential within 6 months of hire
- 1 year RN experience in acute care setting
- STABLE program certification preferred
