Job Summary
Provide direct nursing care in Labor and Delivery across Ascension acute care hospitals, implementing and monitoring patient care plans, coordinating multidisciplinary care, and assisting with discharge planning. Requires a nursing diploma, active RN licensure (compact or state license valid for travel), BLS within 1 month, and NRP certification within 6 months. Travel assignment with 36 hours per week across local and national locations; responsibilities include following established policies/protocols, monitoring patient conditions, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 30 days of hire date
- Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP) certification obtained within 180 days of hire date
- Registered Nurse license prior to start; compact RN license or state license valid for travel location
- Diploma in nursing from an accredited school/college of nursing
- One year RN experience in an acute care setting
- STABLE certification preferred
