Job Summary
Provides professional nursing services for antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum patients. Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and documenting care delivery using the nursing process. Collaborates with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes, educates patients and families prior to discharge, and participates in Quality Assurance initiatives. Requires NRP, BLS, and ACLS certifications, along with a current IL RN License. Prior experience in Labor and Delivery is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Current IL RN License
- NRP certification
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- 1 to 5 years Labor and Delivery experience
Desired Qualifications
- Certification in Electronic Fetal Monitoring
- Experience in high-risk pregnancy care
