Job Summary
Deliver safe patient care in the Birthplace by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating newborn and mother care during antepartum and postpartum periods. Direct patient and family teaching while guiding activities of other nursing personnel and maintaining standards of care. Respond quickly to changes in condition or treatment response, ensuring a safe environment for patients and visitors. Utilize the chain of command when necessary to ensure appropriateness of care. Requires current state RN license, BSN preferred, and certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NRP. Full-time day shift with a $43.26 to $54.09 salary range and a $10,000 sign-on bonus available.
Required Qualifications
- Current and valid state RN License
- BLS certification within 30 days and maintain current
- ACLS certification within 90 days and maintain current
- NRP certification within 90 days and maintain current
- Basic Fetal monitoring within 60 days of hire and maintain current
- AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certificate within 12 months
- STABLE preferred
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree preferred
- AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring certificate preferred
