Job Summary
Registered Nurse-Labor and Delivery position at Mission Hospital requiring leadership in delivering professional nursing care, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and educate patients and families in a fast-paced Labor & Delivery unit. Provides care to patients in labor rooms, operating room, and OB triage; eligible for a sign-on bonus. Requires BSN (or enrollment with plan to obtain BSN within 5 years), NC RN licensure (eNLC may apply), BLS, and at least 1 year of L&D experience. Preferred: MSN and specialty certification. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or enrollment in BSN with plan to obtain BSN within 5 years
- Current licensure as a registered nurse with North Carolina Board of Nursing (eNLC license may apply)
- BLS Healthcare Provider certification
- One year of Labor & Delivery nursing experience
- Masters in Nursing preferred
- National Certification in area of specialty preferred
- Experience with nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) and ability to lead/coordinate patient care
