Job Summary
Provide direct patient care as an RN in Labor and Delivery, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care; collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized plans of care, educate patients and families, and coordinate care across the care continuum; ensures documentation, adherence to professional licensure, and maintains professional standards. Requires current RN license and BSN per update, as well as Basic Life Support (BLS). Scheduled weekly hours 36 with a compensation range of $36.71–$56.17 per hour at St. Marys Regional Hospital in Grand Junction, CO; additional location: New Orleans, LA. Emphasizes patient care delivery, critical thinking, and effective communication in a hospital setting.
Required Qualifications
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice
- Valid compact licenses must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of the start of employment
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required as of 4/27/2025
