Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care of patients using the nursing process, therapeutic interventions, and evidence-based practice. Direct the interdisciplinary care team through delegation and collaboration while managing time, supplies, and resources to coordinate patient care delivery. Evaluate patient responses to interventions, revise care plans as needed, and ensure accurate, timely documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards. Perform physical assessments of patients' social, psychological, and developmental status, and actively seek involvement from patients, families, and physicians to develop individualized care plans. This night shift position (7p-7a) at St. Marys Regional Hospital in Grand Junction, Colorado, requires BLS certification and a current RN license. A BSN is required for new hires.
Required Qualifications
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice
- Valid compact licenses must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of the start of employment
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Education must be obtained from an accredited institution
- Degree will be verified
