Job Summary
Registered Nurse Labor and Delivery Float at Ascension Saint Thomas Midtown in Nashville, TN. Implement and monitor patient care plans; serve as primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care; carry out physician and nursing orders; assess and coordinate discharge planning with the healthcare team. Requires TN RN license (or multi-state Compact), and certifications including Advanced Life Support, BLS, Neonatal Resuscitation, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support within specified timeframes. Preferred 1+ years of RN experience in Labor and Delivery. Nights | PRN schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing or current home state license for multi-state license recognition (Compact State)
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing
- Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Neonatal Resuscitation credentialed from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date
