Job Summary
Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols. Implement and monitor patient care plans, recording and communicating patient conditions as appropriate. Serve as the primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care. Note and carry out physician and nursing orders while assessing and coordinating discharge planning needs with the healthcare team. This role is based at Ascension Seton Medical Center in Austin, TX, within the OB Triage department. The position requires a Registered Nurse with BLS certification and offers a full-time night shift schedule with a $20,000 sign-on bonus.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire
Desired Qualifications
- Advanced Life Support
- Certification specializing in The S.T.A.B.L.E Program
- Certification specializing in Neonatal Resuscitation credentialed from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP)
- OBED experience
