Job Summary
Provide high-level clinical nursing for all deliveries, prioritizing safety and excellence. Design, implement, and adjust real-time patient care plans while monitoring and communicating vital patient condition changes to ensure mother and baby safety. Serve as the central point for the multidisciplinary team, coordinating physicians, specialists, and support staff for seamless, holistic care. Precisely and empathetically manage the birth experience, from executing physician orders to meticulously planning for safe discharge. Full-time night shift at Women and Infants Tower in Indianapolis, IN.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted for BLS certification
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire
Desired Qualifications
- Advanced Life Support
- American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted for Advanced Life Support
- Certification specializing in The S.T.A.B.L.E Program
- Certification specializing in Neonatal Resuscitation credentialed from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP)
