Job Summary
Execute direct nursing care in Labor and Delivery while upholding strict organizational standards and medical protocols. Actively implement care plans, track patient progress, and document clinical changes in real-time. Serve as the central point of contact to ensure seamless communication between all healthcare disciplines. Proactively assess and organize resources needed for a safe and successful patient discharge. Maintain Advanced Life Support, BLS, and Neonatal Resuscitation certifications within specified timeframes. Work full-time nights at Ascension Saint Thomas Rutherford in Murfreesboro, TN.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Certification specializing in Neonatal Resuscitation credentialed from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing or current home state license for multi-state license recognition 'Compact State' obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire
