Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process, including physical, social, and psychological status. Coordinate interdisciplinary care teams through delegation and collaboration while managing time, supplies, and resources to deliver consistent patient care. Evaluate patient responses to interventions, revise care plans as needed, and ensure accurate, timely documentation within legal and ethical standards. Perform patient transfers, ambulate patients, and navigate crowded rooms with full range of movement and manual dexterity. Work nights, weekends, and evenings at Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver, with a $20,000 sign-on bonus for eligible external candidates.
Required Qualifications
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice
- Valid compact licenses must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of the start of employment
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN). Education must be obtained from an accredited institution. Degree will be verified
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is required as of the job description's last update on 4/27/2025
- RNs with less than 12 months of experience must obtain their Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) within four (4) years of their hire date
