Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care of patients using the nursing process, therapeutic interventions, and evidence-based practice while coordinating with interdisciplinary team members. Direct care delivery through delegation and collaboration, manage time and resources effectively, and revise care plans based on patient response and clinical outcomes. Maintain accurate documentation, adhere to legal and ethical standards, and promote professional development within the nursing team. This role involves night shifts with evening, night, and weekend differentials available. Candidates must hold a current registered nurse license, possess Basic Life Support certification, and obtain a Bachelor of Science in Nursing within four years of hire. The position offers a $20,000 sign-on bonus for external candidates with experience and relocation assistance for out-of-state hires.
Required Qualifications
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice
- Valid compact licenses must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of the start of employment
- RNs with less than 12 months of experience must obtain their Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) within four (4) years of their hire date
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
- Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN)
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Ability to see and read information, labels, assess patient needs, operate monitors, identify equipment and supplies
- Ability to verbally communicate as well as hear and understand spoken information, alarms, needs, and issues quickly and accurately
- Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to manipulate complex and delicate equipment with precision and accuracy
- Ability to lift and utilize full range of movement to transfer patients
- Ability to bend to retrieve, lift, and carry supplies and equipment
- Ability to walk and assist with transporting/ambulating patients and obtaining and distributing supplies and equipment
- Ability to stand in a stationary position for an extended period of time
- Ability to drive a vehicle which requires sitting, seeing and reading signs, traffic signals, and other vehicles
