Job Summary
Registered Nurse on the Labor & Delivery unit at Sinai Hospital. The role involves providing skilled, evidence-based maternal and fetal care across the perinatal spectrum on a 23-bed unit, including antepartum, intrapartum, high-risk labor, cesarean section, immediate postpartum recovery, and obstetrical emergencies. Responsibilities include comprehensive maternal and fetal assessments, monitoring vital signs and fetal heart patterns, care for high-risk pregnancies, postpartum recovery support, breastfeeding facilitation, and active participation in rapid response during obstetrical emergencies. Requires BSN (preferred), Maryland RN license, BLS certification with ACLS & NRP required before orientation, and at least 1 year of L&D experience. Sign-on bonus up to $10,000. Shift: Full-time with Weekend Commitment, Day shift 7:00am-7:30pm. Location: Baltimore, MD.
Required Qualifications
- BSN preferred from CCNE accredited schools
- Maryland Registered Nurse License
- American Heart Association BLS Certification
- ACLS & NRP are required to be obtained prior to orientation completion
- At least 1 year of L&D experience
