Job Summary
Registered Nurse in Family Medicine within a Certified Rural Health Clinic setting in Washington. Responsibilities include providing professional nursing care under physician/provider direction, recording vital signs and measurements, administering injections and medications, assisting with procedures, documenting in EMR, and coordinating care with the physician/provider. Performs nursing assessments, develops and implements care plans, conducts clinical triage via phone and electronic messages, supports the clinical team (medical assistants, patient access staff), and ensures timely follow-up. Maintains patient education, adheres to protocols and regulatory requirements, and contributes to clinic workflow and quality management. Requires active RN license in WA, HS diploma/GED, and current BLS; minimum of 1 year of direct patient care experience preferred; strong communication and organizational skills; proficiency with EMR and basic computer tools.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with an active/current RN license in Washington State
- Current BLS certification
- Experience: At least one (1) year of recent full-time experience providing direct patient care in an outpatient or acute care medical setting is preferred
- Proficiency with EMR and basic computer skills
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
