Job Summary
Provide direct nursing care in a rural outpatient/clinic environment. Perform patient intake, assess health concerns, obtain vital signs, and document findings in the medical record. Administer medications, injections, immunizations, and treatments within scope of practice. Assist providers with examinations, procedures, and follow-up care. Educate patients and families on medications, treatment plans, preventive care, and chronic disease management. Collect specimens, perform basic clinical procedures, support care coordination, and perform phlebotomy as required. Maintain infection control, safety, and quality standards in all clinical areas. Respond to urgent patient needs and escalate concerns when indicated. Support community health outreach and promote access to care for underserved populations.
Required Qualifications
- Current Nevada RN license in good standing. Will consider a strong LPN candidate.
- Current BLS certification. ACLS must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
- Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a rural setting with a high degree of flexibility and professionalism.
- Commitment to patient-centered care, confidentiality, and teamwork.
