Job Summary
Develops, implements, evaluates and revises a plan of care for assigned patients and families, while promoting the mission and values of Kentfield Hospital. Provides direct nursing care and supervises nursing staff in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act, and operates in a charge nurse capacity as assigned. Essential responsibilities include applying nursing standards to identify and teach learning needs to patients and families, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and maintaining professional standards. The role emphasizes clinical competence, patient care management, quality improvement, and developing clinical expertise per specialty. The hospital offers a comprehensive benefits package including 401k, health, dental, vision, life insurance, PTO, and tuition reimbursement.
Required Qualifications
- Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of California
- Current BLS and ACLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Previous acute care experience strongly preferred.
